‘꼬미(kkomi)’의 블로그 재정비중

오늘부터 ‘꼬미(kkomi)’ 라는 작은 불면증 미이라를 소개하려고 합니다. 꼬미는 영화 속 꿈을 여행하며 여러 이야기를 만들어가는 캐릭터예요.

사실, 이 영화소개 블로그는 십 년 동안 비공개로 방치되어 있던 터라, 템플릿도 다 바뀌고, 티스토리 플랫폼도 이전되면서 공개하면 엉뚱한 광고가 제멋대로 붙기도 하네요. 먼저, 문제가 될 수 있는 영화 스틸컷들은 정리부터 해야 할 것 같아요.

*당시 기준에서는 허용됐던 것들이 지금 시대 기준에 맞지않는 것들이 많아요.

유튜브는 누구나 볼 수 있는 멋진 공간이지만, 초보가 시작하기에는 쉽지 않습니다. 하루에도 수백만 (5-6백만개) 개의 영상이 올라오기 때문에, 구독자가 없는 신생 채널은 알고리즘에서 겨우 몇 백 명 정도에게만 노출 테스트될 뿐이에요. 이미 구독자가 많은 채널은 기본적으로 구독자 수민큼의 시청자에게 영상이 뿌려지지만, 저 같은 초보는 거의 맨땅에서 시작해야 하죠.

그래서 저는 처음부터 조회수나 광고보다는, 꼬미를 즐겁게 키워가는 과정에 집중하려고 합니다. 무의미한 노출 경쟁보다는 자기 만족도가 우선이라야 지속이 가능합니다. (유투브 초보로서의) 실수담도, 비하인드도, 꼬미의 성장 과정도 블로그에 하나씩 기록할 예정이에요. 마치 아이를 키우듯, 천천히 꼬미가 어떻게 자라는지 지켜보는 재미를 함께 하고 싶습니다.

I’d like to introduce Kkomi, a little insomnia-stricken mummy who travels through dreams inside movies.

This project has been sitting untouched for over ten years, so everything—from templates to the blogging platform—has changed. Now, if I make it public, weird ads sometimes pop up, so I’ll need to start by cleaning up old movie stills that might cause problems.

YouTube is an amazing platform where anyone can share their videos, but it’s not exactly beginner-friendly. Millions of videos go up every day, and if you’re just starting out with no subscribers, your videos might only be seen by a few hundred people. Established channels automatically get their content in front of their audience, but newbies like me basically start from scratch.

That’s why I’m focusing less on views or money, and more on enjoying the process of bringing Kkomi to life. I’ll be sharing her growth, little mistakes, and behind-the-scenes moments here on the blog. Think of it like watching a kid grow up—slowly, carefully, and with lots of love.
